Hinsdale Humane Society Junior Board to Host Dog Wash in Western Springs
The dog wash will take place Aug. 29 at Pet Necessities.

On Saturday, August 29, the Hinsdale Humane Society (HHS) Junior Board presents a dog wash from noon to 3 p.m. at Pet Necessities, 4354 Johnson Ave. in Western Springs, benefitting dogs and cats at HHS.
A donation of $10 to HHS is suggested for each dog attending the event. The shelter also appreciates supply donations such as liquid bleach, non-clumping, clay kitty litter, paper towels, postage stamps and the like, which are greatly appreciated in exchange for a clean pooch.

The dog wash is an opportunity to donate to HHS homeless animals, while getting the dog washed. Families will have an enjoyable day washing their dog together, or having Jr. Board members do it for them, all while helping a great cause for other animals.
The Hinsdale Humane Society Junior Board is a youth-led group of local high school students dedicated to supporting the mission of compassionate and humane treatment of animals. This student group’s goal is to raise awareness for HHS through education and community outreach opportunities.
