Hinsdale Man Accused Of Domestic Battery: Cops

He also interfered with the victim's ability to call authorities, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

Domestic battery

Michel Jorden Buster, 29, of Hinsdale, was arrested about 1 p.m. May 29 in the 300 block of West 59th Street on charges of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic battery. Police said Buster grabbed a woman's phone and threw it away from her after making contact of an "insulting or provoking nature." Buster was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

DUI

Jazmin Esmeralda Rendon, 32, of Hickory Hills, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of East Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, improper lane use, improper stopping and speeding. She refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. She was released and given a date to appear in court.

Warrant

Ryan J. Cooper, 22, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Thursday at Vine Street and Ayres Avenue on an arrest warrant and charges of speeding and failure to signal when required. He posted bond and was given a date to appear in court.

Attempted theft

A resident in the 100 block of Stough Street saw someone he knew trying to steal a greenhouse from his backyard about 2 p.m. Friday. The case is pending.
