Hinsdale Man Accused Of DUI: Cops

In another case, $9,100 in tools were stolen from a Hinsdale business, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police arrested people on charges of DUI, burglary, a hit-and-run, fraud and theft. Here is information from the reports:

DUI

  • Jackson T. Guinta, 21, of Hinsdale, was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Sunday at 55th and Madison street on charges of DUI, improper lane use and speeding. Guinta refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Burglary

  • Two people were seen on surveillance cameras stealing $9,100 in diagnostic tools about 2 a.m. Sunday at Fuller's Service Center, 102 W. Chicago Ave. The case is pending.

Hit-and-run

  • A driver struck a retaining wall and left without reporting the crash between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. July 17 in the 10 block of South Washington Street. The damage is estimated at $1,000.

Fraud

  • A person bought car parts totaling $1,437 using a fraudulent credit card over the telephone June 15 at Land Rover Hinsdale, 336 E. Ogden Ave. The case is pending. The crime was reported Wednesday.

Theft

  • A total of $80 in cash was stolen between 2 p.m. July 18 and 5 a.m. July 19 from a drawer in a room at The Pearl of Hinsdale nursing home, 600 W. Ogden Ave.
