Hinsdale Man Arrested On Felony Charge: Cops

Another local man was arrested on a warrant after a disturbance, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

Fentanyl

  • James M. Meyer, 38, who lives in the 400 block of South Lincoln Street in Hinsdale, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Friday at his house on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance. He was also wanted on a DuPage County warrant. Police said he had a substance that field-tested positive for fentanyl. Meyer has faced such charges before. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Warrant

  • A 35-year-old man who lives in the 600 block of The Lane was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at his house on a DuPage County warrant. Police were called because of a disturbance. The man was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Theft

  • Whole Foods, 500 E. Ogden Ave., reported that a known suspect used gift cards that were reported stolen. The cards were used between Jan. 9 and Jan. 24. The case is pending.

Harassment

  • On Saturday, someone sent a resident in the 100 block of Minneola Street text messages of an alarming or threatening nature. The resident knows the suspect. The case is pending.
