Hinsdale Man Arrested On Warrant: Cops

In another case, people were tampering with a resident's car early in the morning, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

Warrants

  • James M. Meyer, 37, of Hinsdale, was arrested about 10:30 a.m. Monday in the 10 block of East Hinsdale Avenue on a DuPage County warrant. He was suffering from a medical emergency. After he was released from medical care, he was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • Zachary T. Graham, 30, of Lexington, Kentucky, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Friday on a Clarendon Hills warrant. He was stopped after a car registration inquiry. He was released to Clarendon Hills police.

Suspicious

  • A resident in the 700 block of South Adams Street told police that his car was tampered with about 5:30 a.m. March 1 while in his driveway. Both sets of his keys did not work. He suspected the car was reprogrammed. He woke up when he heard car doors slamming. He saw four SUVs driving away.

Vandalism

  • Someone etched profanity onto a pole at the tennis courts at Burns Field Park, 320 N. Vine St. The vandalism was reported last Thursday.

DUI

  • Pedro Porcayo, 42, of Downers Grove, was arrested shortly before midnight Sunday at Route 83 and 63rd Street on charges of DUI, no valid driver's license, improper lane use, uninsured vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. Police said Porcayo had an open container of alcohol. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
