Hinsdale Man Charged With Domestic Battery: Cops
In another case, a Clarendon Hills teen is accused of disorderly conduct.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving domestic battery, disorderly conduct, DUI, car theft and identity theft. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
Domestic battery
- Eric A. Martinez, 30, of Hinsdale, was arrested about 3 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of The Lane on a charge of domestic battery. Police said he used force against a family member. He was taken to the Cook County Jail.
Disorderly conduct

- A 15-year-old youth of Clarendon Hills was cited about 10 p.m. Sunday on a charge of disorderly conduct. The teen alarmed and disturbed occupants of a house in the 700 block of South Adams Street. The suspect repeatedly pounded on the front door. He was released to a parent.
DUI
- Haley Rajeshkumar Patel, no age available, of Villa Park, was arrested about 1 a.m. Jan. 12 at 55th and Madison streets on charges of DUI and improper lane usage. She submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Car theft

- Police reported earlier this week that a car with its engine running and the keys inside was stolen about 8 p.m. Monday at Shell gas station, 210 E. Ogden Ave. The new information is that the car was a 2015 Kia Optima and that it was unlocked.
Identity theft
- A resident in the 10 block of Seventh Street told police Jan. 11 that someone opened a checking account and credit cards using the resident's identity. The identity theft occurred Jan. 3.
- A resident in the 5600 block of South Oak Street told police Tuesday that someone used the resident's identity to obtain a government loan. The identity theft happened July 13.
