Hinsdale Man Charged With Domestic Battery Late At Night: Police
In another case, a man said his car was stolen while being transported from a Hinsdale dealership, authorities said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving domestic battery, car theft and DUI. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
Domestic battery
- A 42-year-old Hinsdale man who lives in the 200 block of Justina Street was arrested shortly after midnight Sunday at his house on two domestic battery counts. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

- A man told police March 10 that his newly purchased vehicle was stolen three days earlier during transport from Jaguar Land Rover Hinsdale, 336 E. Ogden Ave. The case is pending.
DUI
- A 34-year-old Chicago man was arrested shortly before midnight Saturday at Route 83 and 55th Street on charges of DUI and illegal standing or parking where prohibited. Police said they were called about a reckless driving complaint and found the man asleep at the wheel on the shoulder of Route 83. The man refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was given a court date and then released.
- A 34-year-old Gary woman was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Holmes Avenue and 55th Street on charges of DUI, speeding 26 to 34 mph above the limit, improper lane use and driving an uninsured car. She submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit. She was given a court date and then released.
