Hinsdale Man Charged With DUI: Police

Resident was found unresponsive behind the wheel, report says.

HINSDALE, IL — The Hinsdale Police Department released its latest blotter. Here is information from the reports:

DUI

  • Mindaugas Zamalaitis, 45, of Hinsdale, was arrested at 3 p.m. Sunday in the 5600 block of Childs Avenue on charges of DUI, improper lane use and parking improperly at the curb. According to a police report, officers were called to an unresponsive person, identified as Zamalaitis, at the wheel partially blocking traffic near his house. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

  • Maryam Bolouri, 64, of Oak Brook, was cited at 1 p.m. Friday on a charge of failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle. According to a police report, a witness saw Bolouri hit a parked car and exit the lot at Whole Foods, 500 E. Ogden Ave. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • A hit-and-run property damage accident happened between 10:50 a.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesday in the 10 block of South Washington Street. A driver struck an unoccupied Toyota Camry.

Warrant

  • Joseph J. Molony, 36, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Phillipa Street on a Will County warrant. He was stopped as a result of an inquiry on his vehicle registration. He was taken to the Will County Jail.

Suspended license

  • Dylan A. Voss, 20, of Darien, was cited about 11:30 p.m. Friday at Oak Street and Chicago Avenue on charges of unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, driving with a suspended license and improper lighting. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
