Hinsdale Man Charged With Trespassing: Cops

The man was seen on a video trying to enter a house early in the morning, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – A Hinsdale man was charged with trespassing after he tried to enter a local house early in the morning Thursday.

A resident told Hinsdale officers that a man tried to enter the back door of the resident's house shortly after 1 a.m. in the 200 block of South Bruner Street, police said. The incident was captured on a surveillance camera.

Officers continued to patrol the area and came across the suspect in the video about 3:30 a.m. in the alley of the 400 block of South Bruner, police said.

The person is a 21-year-old Hinsdale resident who told officers he was looking to steal money from purses and wallets, police said. He was charged with criminal trespass to a house.

Police did not release the man's name.
