Hinsdale Man Tries To Enter Houses: Cops

The resident was seen on surveillance footage, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – A Hinsdale man was seen on surveillance video last week trying to enter through the back doors of two houses, local police said.

James A. McGann, 21, of the 200 block of South Adams Street, was arrested on three misdemeanor counts of criminal trespassing.

The crimes occurred about 1 a.m. Thursday, with the victims' houses in the 400 and 600 blocks of South Bruner Street, police said. Both houses are near McGann's residence.

McGann was taken into custody in the 400 block of South Bruner. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
