Hinsdale Police Investigate Home Burglary

Jewelry was taken from the master bedroom of a home Tuesday in a burglary that took place between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the 800 block of North Washington.

Hinsdale police began investigating the burglary around 4:30 p.m.. The burglar entered the home through an unlocked door, police report.

Police are asking anyone in the area with private video surveillance systems to contact the Investigations Division at (630) 789-7070.

Hinsdale residents are advised to call 911 if they see unusual or suspicious behavior. Take note of the person’s appearance and clothing and details about any cars involved.
