Hinsdale Police Reports: Hit and Run, DUI, Bike Theft
Hinsdale Police Department reported crimes through July 21.

Someone stole payroll checks between May 18 and July 13 and cashed 10 forged checks totaling $4,500 from Doo Care on Salt Creek Lane, according to Hinsdale police.
Three 16-year-old male juveniles, two from La Grange and one from La Grange Park, were charged July 16 with possession of cannabis 30 grams and under, according to Hinsdale police. They were referred to a peer jury and released to parents.

Eduardo Sanchez, age 41 of the 5400 block of West Cermak, Cicero, was arrested July 18 in the 600 block of South County Line Road and charged with drunken driving, DUI more than .08, driving with a suspended license and illegal transportation of alcohol, according to Hinsdale police. He was released to the Lyons Police Department for an outstanding warrant.
Someone stole an unlocked bicycle July 17 from a rack at Salt Creek Club on North Madison, according to Hinsdale police. The bike was valued at $500.

A victim reported the driver in a tan SUV was driving on the shoulder of the road and hit a metal barricade at Route 83 and 55th Street, causing it to strike the victim’s car, according to Hinsdale police. The SUV driver didn’t stop after hitting the barricade.
