Stephen P Glynn, age 48 of the 7900 block of South 85th Court, Justice, turned himself in to Hinsdale police and was charged with violating an order of protection, police reported. The violation took place April 8 between 2 and 8 p.m. at Hinsdale Hospital. Glynn was brought to DuPage County Jail.
Someone stole a wallet April 9 from the purse of a Whole Foods employee on East Ogden Avenue, according to Hinsdale police. The purse was in an administrative office while the employee was working her shift. The wallet contained a driver’s license, $200 cash, $100 in gift cards and various credit cards, police reported.

A victim sent $29,500 to someone who claimed to be an IRS agent April 10, according to Hinsdale police. The victim made separate bank transactions in Hinsdale and in neighboring towns, police reported.

Someone keyed a car between April 10 and 13 while it was parked in a shared parking lot in the 200 block of West 59th Street, according to Hinsdale police.
A 16-year-old female juvenile in Hinsdale was arrested April 10 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest, according to Hinsdale police. Police went to help a family find someone who had walked away from home, and they found her on the sidewalk carrying a knife, police reported. Police asked her to drop the knife, but she refused. She was charged and brought to Kane County Juvenile Detention Center, police reported.
Someone filed a joint tax return between March 25 and April 12 using a victim’s information.
Someone stole construction material between April 3 and 6 from a house under construction in the 10 block of Kennedy Lane, according to Hinsdale police. The stolen materials were valued at $1,685.
