Hinsdale Rotary Run Has Another Successful Year

Over 700 runners, which included 210 runners from District 181, participated in the race.

HINSDALE, IL — The 24th annual Rotary Run Charity Classic was a success. The race was held on Oct. 14 at The Community House in Hinsdale. According to the organization, over 700 runners, which included 210 runners from District 181, participated in the race.

In terms of participants, the top two elementary schools were: Oak School with 47 runners and The Lane School with 29. The traveling "Mrs. B Trophy," named for Oak School’s PE teacher Marianne Biedrzycki, was awarded to Oak School, the organization said. The “Mr. K Cup," named after Clarendon Hills Middle School principal, was won by Hinsdale Middle School.The trophies were awarded on stage after the race, and photos were taken of the winning school’s students and runners.
