Hinsdale South Graduation 2019: What To Know If You Plan To Go

DARIEN, IL - The next alums of Hinsdale South High School will cross the stage for graduation on Thursday, May 23. Hinsdale Township High School District 86 has shared the following information about the event so parents, grandparents and all others attending can best prepare for the memorable night.

When?

The 2019 Hinsdale South High School graduation ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. in the stadium outdoors. Hinsdale South High School is located at 7401 Clarendon Hills Road in Darien.

Inclement Weather Plan

In case of rain or other inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside the school's gymnasium.

If the event is indoors, each graduate will be issued four tickets for the gym and two tickets for the auditorium, where there will be a closed-circuit video. No extra tickets are available.

No noisemakers, balloons, signs or other visual obstructions will be permitted in the stadium.

Faculty Speaker

This will be the first graduation ceremony in which there will be a faculty speaker. Mr. David Anderson, the English department chair, was elected by the Class of 2019 to fill that role.
