Hinsdale: Where Burglars Are Hitting

HINSDALE, IL — Car thieves are continuing to target Hinsdale, so the village again sent out a reminder for residents to lock their cars and refrain from leaving their key fobs inside. Car burglaries were reported on Sunday morning in the 400 block of South Park Avenue, and another car was reported stolen out of the driveway in the 800 block of South Lincoln Street, police said in a Facebook post Monday night.

Police said they recovered the stolen car on Sunday afternoon in Harvey, several hours after the resident reported it gone.
