Hinsdale Woman Accused Of Domestic Battery
In another case, a car was stolen in a Hinsdale neighborhood, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving domestic battery, a stolen car, theft of a tool, a hit-and-run crash and warrants. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
Domestic battery
- A 39-year-old Hinsdale woman who lives in the 700 block of Woodland Avenue was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Sunday at her house on a domestic battery charge. She was taken to the Cook County Jail.
Stolen car

- A car was stolen between 11:20 p.m. and 11:35 p.m. Sept. 17 while it was parked in front of a house in the 400 block of South Bruner Street. The theft was reported a day later. The case is pending.
Tool theft
- A utility worker told police that someone stole a construction tool from the parkway about 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 800 block of South Washington Street.
Hit-and-run

- A person told police that someone hit her car while it was parked between noon and 4 p.m. Sept. 14 at Hinsdale Central High School, 5500 S. Grant St. The hit-and-run crash was reported six days later. The case is pending.
Warrants
- A 37-year-old Franklin Park man was arrested about 9 a.m. Wednesday at Ogden Avenue and Salt Creek Lane on a DuPage County warrant. He was stopped after a registration inquiry. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 35-year-old Villa Park woman was arrested about 4 a.m. Friday at Garfield Avenue and First Street on a DuPage County warrant. She was stopped for disobeying a stop sign. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 23-year-old Chicago woman was arrested about 10 p.m. Monday at Ogden Avenue and Adams Street on an Effingham County warrant. She was given a speeding ticket. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
