Hinsdale Woman Accused Of Taking Briefcase With Cash In Domestic
Suspect was arrested about a month after the downtown Hinsdale disturbance. She was taken to jail.
HINSDALE, IL — A Hinsdale woman is accused of domestic battery and theft after an incident in May in downtown Hinsdale, police said. Jamie J. Dubrovay, 57, was arrested about a month later.
According to a Hinsdale police report, Dubrovay pushed her way into a victim's car during a confrontation. She removed a briefcase containing $2,000, a watch valued at $350 and other personal items, police said.
Dubrovay then knocked the victim's cellphone away to prevent the person from calling 911, the report said.

The incident happened about 5:30 p.m. May 22. An arrest warrant was obtained June 5, with the suspect served June 17. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
Dubrovay was charged with domestic battery, battery, criminal trespass to a vehicle, theft and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, police said.
