Hinsdale Woman Victim Of Concert Ticket Scam: Cops
In another case, a car stolen in a carjacking was found in Hinsdale, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
Concert ticket scam
- A resident in the 600 block of South Stough Street told police Tuesday that she responded to a social media post from a stranger selling concert tickets. The resident sent money through an online banking app, but the resident did not receive the tickets and was unable to contact the stranger again. The case is pending.
Carjacking

- About 7:30 p.m. Monday, officers found a car that was stolen in a carjacking that occurred earlier the same day in Chicago. It was discovered in the 500 block of West 55th Street. A suspect was taken into custody in Countryside. The person was released, with charges pending further investigation and the issuance of a search warrant.
Identity theft
- A resident in the 800 block of West Hickory Street told police that someone intercepted the resident's check and altered the payee information.
