Hinsdale's Burns Field Ice Rink Opens

HINSDALE, IL — The Burns Field Ice Rink is open for the season starting Saturday, Feb. 2, the village said. The recreation department thanked everyone for their patience as they waited for winter temperatures to arrive.

The warming house will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for all patrons and an Ice Guard will be on duty to provide free hot chocolate, according to the village. Throughout the rest of the season, you can check social media to see if the rink is open or look at the signs at the rink (green=open, red=closed).
