"Greg Hart represents the kind of leadership our organization believes in, bringing people together, putting community interests ahead of politics and finding practical solutions that make a difference," Kiki Whitehead, national chair of the United Hellenic Voters of America, said in the release. "He understands that effective leadership isn't about dividing people or taking credit. It's about building partnerships, embracing new ideas and getting things done."
Hart has also backed economic development efforts aimed at attracting investment, strengthening Hinsdale's commercial districts and diversifying its sales tax base, according to the news release.
Before becoming village president, Hart served on the DuPage County Board, where he co-chaired the Heroin-Opioid Prevention and Education Task Force. When he took Hinsdale's helm in 2025, he was the youngest village president since Hinsdale's incorporation in 1873.
"I've always believed that the best results come when we look beyond political differences, find common ground and work together toward shared goals. That's the approach I've taken in Hinsdale, and I'm grateful to the many community partners who make that work possible," Hart said in the release.
