Hit And Run, Criminal Damage, Dog Bite: Hinsdale Blotter

The following information is from the Hinsdale Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Dog Bite

A victim in the 1400 block of Fox Lane reported at 11:20 a.m. on May 27 that she and her dog were bitten by a suspect's dog while walking on the street. The suspect walking the dog who bit the victim was sited for failure to restrain dog and the owner of the dog was cited for failure to affix license tag to collar.

DUI

Jessy V. Hernandez, 24, of Bolingbrook was stopped at York Road and Ogden Avenue at 5:05 a.m. on April 28 and was charged with DUI-alcohol and DUI greater than .08. Police were dispatched to a motorist assist. Suspect was observed to be under the influence of alcohol. Suspect submitted testing that indicated he was over the legal limit.

Tiffany S. Archie, 30, of La Grange was stopped at 55th Street and Taft Road at 4:03 a.m. on May 30 and was charged with DUI-alcohol, DUI greater than .08 and improper lane use. Suspect was stopped for improper lane use. Suspect was observed to be under the influence of alcohol. Suspect submitted testing that indicated she was over the legal limit.

Criminal Damage To Property

A victim in the 100 block of South County Line Road reported a stone archway over his driveway was knocked over and destroyed some time on May 29 between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Warrant

Jamie E. Kaptur, 39, of Glen Ellyn was charged with failure to appear on a warrant out of Du Page County at 6:17 a.m. on June 1 in the 500 block of Walker Road. Police were dispatched to a noise complaint. Suspect had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear out of Du Page County.

Hit And Run

A victim at BP Amoco, 149 E. Ogden Ave. at 6:52 p.m. on May 31 reported an unknown suspect driving a gold Volkswagen backed out of a parking space hit his vehicle, and exited the parking lot. A witness described the suspect as a younger white male with a short trimmed beard and shaved head.
