Two Hinsdale Middle School show choirs qualified for the Illinois Music Grade School Association (IGSMA) state contest by posting a Division 1 rating at regionals.
The Encore Show Choir and the Girl Treble Show Choir both earned the honor by posting Division 1 ratings at regionals. However, neither show choir will be able to compete in the state competition later this month because both have been invited, along with the HMS Chamber Strings and Symphonic Band, to be the opening acts for four shows in Brandon, MO April 26-29.
Encore Show Choir members include Megan Bauschard, Declan Dineen, Parker Donnan, Bhavana Dronamraju, Reese Edgewater, Loretta Fey, Kenna Fikejs, Julia Gabriel, Elise Gillman, Tyler Gonzalez, Kate Henige, Colin Hill, Jack Huber, Samantha Hutten, Bella Insignares, Maurine Isaac, Anna Kinnas, Libby Larson, Meredith Lee, Jack Levine, Lynden McCarroll, Trinitee McCoy, Shriya Mehta, Erin Milligan, Sarah Milligan, Megan Nash, Tommy Neil, Ava Newcomer, Katie Parkins, Lauren Peters, Noah Priest, Maddie Rosenblum, Mia Sekiguchi, Eric Seppanen, Claire Stephenson, Karen Tan, Gregory Theotikos, Leo Usher, Veronica Walsh, and Brian Williams.
