Hinsdale Middle School students turned in strong performances in the Illinois Math League contest.
Hinsdale Middle School’s 7th grade team of Kevin Zhang, Jeffrey Liu, Alex Jiang, Sam Chung and Luke Chung was the DuPage Region’s runnerup and finished fifth overall out of 58 schools in the league.
Hinsdale Middle School’s 6th grade team of Eddie Wang, Madhav Hota, Ethem Gulcu, Adam Rab and Devin Garg tied for third in the DuPage Region and finished 16th in the overall league standings.

Zhang was the 7th grade individual champion for the DuPage Regional and was seventh overall in the league, while Liu was third and Alex Jiang fourth in the regional.
