Home Health Care Worker Used Hinsdale Resident's Financial Information To Online Shop, Pay Bills: Police
Katricia Williams has been arrested for predatory financial crimes committed against a 68-year-old Hinsdale resident, according to police.

HINSDALE, IL — A home healthcare worker from Chicago has been arrested for predatory financial crimes committed in Hinsdale in August and September 2016, according to police officials. Katricia Williams, 36, was indicted on the charges on June 27 by a grand jury in DuPage County.
According to police officials, Williams was hired in the fall of 2016 as a home healthcare worker for a 68-year-old Hinsdale resident. During her time in the home, Williams used the patient's name, bank accounts and credit cards to fund her own personal bills, online shopping and her family's jail commissary accounts.
Police officials said Williams was indicted on June 27 and a warrant was issued for her arrest on the charges of: one count of continuing a financial crimes enterprise (class 1 felony), 11 counts of aggravated financial identity theft (class 2 felony), and one count of financial exploitation of the elderly (class 3 felony).

Williams was taken into custody on July 18, and has been transported to DuPage County Jail on the warrant, according to police officials.
