House Broken Into In Hinsdale Neighborhood: Cops
Jewelry was stolen and windows were left open, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their weekly blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
Burglary
- A house in the 400 block of East 57th Street was burglarized between 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 22. Jewelry was stolen. There were no signs of forced entry. The resident noticed windows were open when he returned home. The case is pending.
Theft

- A woman told police that her fanny pack containing her wallet, identifications and credit cards was stolen after visiting a patient at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St. She reported a fraudulent charge on her credit card afterward. The theft occurred Nov. 18. She filed a report four days later.
Car break-in
- A car was burglarized about 4 a.m. Monday in a driveway in the 600 block of West Chicago Avenue. It appeared as if the car's interior were ransacked.
