Dribble On Down to the Clarendon Hills Park District! Fall Youth Basketball League Sets Season
Boys and girls in grades 1-3 will want to "dribble on down" to the Clarendon Hills Park District to register for the Fall Youth Basketball League. This league will focus on dribbling, passing, shooting, offensive and defensive skills, sportsmanship, fun and game play! Every team will have one 35-minute practice during the week, followed by a Saturday morning game! (Practices and games will not take place over Thanksgiving week!) Our first and second grade league is designed for the fundamentals of learning the game, and the beginner player who wants to focus on skill development and confidence. Hoops will be set at an 8 foot height. The second and third grade league is designed for the advanced beginner to intermediate player who has played basketball and is ready for the next level of game play! Hoops will be set at a 9 foot height. Cost of this program is $70.00 for residents of Clarendon Hills and $88.00 for children living in other communities. The season begins on October 30 and runs through December 15. The registration deadline for this program is October 22.
