Jewelry Stolen From Hinsdale Woman's House: Cops
In other cases, police said they arrested two men on DUI charges in the last few days.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
Theft
- A ring and a bracelet were stolen from a woman's jewelry box between July 14 and Aug. 26 in the 400 block of North Vine Street. The resident said she had multiple workers in her house during that time. She reported the theft Monday. The case is pending.

- A 33-year-old man from Chicago was arrested about 2 a.m. Sept. 13 at York Road and Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, driving an uninsured car and driving with a suspended license. The man refused to be tested for his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 26-year-old man from Willowbrook was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Thursday at 55th and Madison streets on charges of DUI, transportation of open alcohol by a driver, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, and illegal stopping, standing or parking where prohibited. The man's car was stalled in traffic. He had an open beer can and an unsealed container of suspected marijuana. He refused to be tested for his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
Fraud
- Someone intercepted a business check mailed by Salvino Plastic Surgery, 911 N. Elm St., and altered the payee and amount. It occurred Sept. 11 and was reported to the police a day later. The case is pending.
- A resident in the 100 block of South Washington Street told police a week ago that someone made unauthorized charges on the resident's credit card between Jan. 1 and July 31.
