Kayaks Stolen, DUI: Hinsdale Police Reports

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

DUI

• Linda Edmiston, 65, of Greensboro, Georgia, was arrested at 9:35 p.m. April 28 at County Line and 47th Street for DUI-alcohol and improper lane use.

Theft

• An unknown suspect took a wheelchair from RML Specialty Hospital, 5601 S. County Line Road, at 7:45 p.m. April 28. The suspect was described as a woman with black hair and was seen loading the wheelchair into an older silver sedan.
• An unknown suspect stole two kayaks from a back patio in the 1100 block of Indian Trail Road sometime between 1:15 and 7:45 p.m. April 29. The kayaks were valued at $1,080.

Hit and Run

• A suspect's vehicle parked in the road had heavy front end damage and air bag deployment after crashing into a parked vehicle at 9:26 p.m. April 25 at Grant and Fifth streets. The suspect had left the scene prior to police arrival.
