Last Day to Register for World's Largest Swim Lesson
Lions Park Pool to Seek A Place in the Guinness Book of World Records

The Guinness Book of World Records is inviting local children and teens to earn their place in history as part of the World's Largest Swimming Lesson on Friday, June 24. The Clarendon Hills Park District's Lions Park Pool, 100 Byrd Court, will be taking part in this fun, educational and informational event at 10 a.m.. On this date, pools and water parks across the world will be hosting free swimming lessons at the exact time. The purpose of this activity is designed to share water safety tips, while encouraging children and adults of all ages to learn how to swim. The Lions Park event is open to swimmers and non-swimmers ages 3-16. Pre-registration will be accepted through Tuesday, June 21. This program is entirely free of charge. In-person registration will be available at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue. Families with an active household account in the Clarendon Hills Park District's Rec Trac system are encouraged to sign up on line.
