Lions Park Pool Passes On Sale In Clarendon Hills

The Lions Park Pool features a diving well, a water slide, six lap lanes, a bubbler splash pad, an interactive water play feature and more.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — Resident pool passes for the Lions Park Pool go on sale at 9 a.m. March 12 at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Ave. According to the park district, in-person registration is required for all pool pass sales. This year, a resident family pass will sell for $285, while the popular family plus pass is available for $325 for residents of Clarendon Hills. An individual resident pass is $150, while a senior pass (age 60 and better) will sell for $70 to residents of Clarendon Hills. A generous early bird discount will be applied to the above rates on all season passes sold on or before Friday, April 13.

The park district said the Lions Park Pool features a diving well, a water slide, six lap lanes, a bubbler splash pad, an interactive water play feature, and a zero depth entry area for very young swimmers. The pool is located at 100 Byrd Court, and the aquatics complex will open for the season over Memorial Day weekend, remaining open through Labor Day.

In addition to recreational swimming, the Lions Park complex also is the official home of the Sea Lions Swim Team and offers group and private lessons to young swimmers throughout the summer months.

According to the park district, this year's pool calendar also includes diving lessons, a Junior Lifeguard Camp, a Water Polo Camp, Fluid Running classes for adults, and a Discover Scuba program. Special events at the aquatics center will include a Dash and Splash Race on July 27 and the Fifth Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta on Aug. 4.
