Lions Park Pool Passes on Sale: A Roaring Good Time This Summer
Clarendon Hills Park District Promises Fun In the Sun
Dive in for a summer of fun at the Clarendon Hills Park District's Lions Park Pool! The Clarendon Hills Park District is currently selling season passes to the aquatics center between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays. In-person registration is required for all pool pass sales and takes place at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue. Resident pool pass sales began on Monday, March 13, and families living in neighboring communities can purchase their passes starting on Monday, March 20. A summer tradition in Clarendon Hills, the Lions Park Pool features a diving well, six lap lanes, a water slide, a bubbler splash pad, an interactive water play feature, and a zero depth entry area for very young visitors. A newly-remodeled sand play lot will delight toddlers and preschoolers visiting the Lions Park complex with their families. Located at 100 Byrd Court, the aquatics center will officially open over Memorial Day weekend, offering recreational swimming, group and private lessons, the Sea Lions swim team, and special events through Labor Day. Pool patrons are reminded that a generous early bird discount will be applied to all pool pass sales made on or before 5 p.m. on Friday, April 14. Families living in Darien, Downers Grove, Westmont, Willowbrook - four nearby communities that do not operate an outdoor aquatics center - are reminded that passes will be available at the "neighborly" rate once again this year.
