Lions Park Pool Receives Aquatic Safety Award
The 2017 lifeguard staff was honored for consistently exceeding criteria for aquatic safety certification.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The Clarendon Hills Park District's Lions Park Pool recently received a 2017 Gold International Aquatic Safety Award from Jeff Ellis & Associates, a Florida-based risk management and aquatic safety consulting firm. According to the park district, the 2017 lifeguard staff was honored for consistently exceeding criteria for aquatic safety certification.
The park district said this means that patrons of the Lions Park Pool are constantly being afforded with the highest degree of swimmer protection currently available for the aquatic industry; only Jeff Ellis & Associates clients scoring in the top 30 percent of all audit criteria for safety received this award.
The Lions Park Pool will reopen for the 2018 swimming season over Memorial Day weekend.
