Lions Park Pool Receives Safety Award

The Clarendon Hills Park District's Lions Park Pool staff has recently been recognized with a 2017 Gold International Aquatic Safety Award. This honor was presented by Jeff Ellis & Associates, the Florida-based pool safety and risk management consulting firm which made three unannounced audit visits to the pool complex during the recent swim season. The lifeguard team at the Lions Park Pool was recognized for consistently exceeding criteria for aquatic safety and certification! This recognition places the Clarendon Hills Park District's aquatics center in the top 30% of pools surveyed this year. Congratulations to Aquatics Manager Valerie Louthan and her 2017 lifeguard team on a job well done! Located at 100 Byrd Court in Clarendon Hills, the Lions Park Pool has been a summer tradition for generations of Clarendon Hills families. Please swim with us in 2018!
