Longtime Hinsdale Police Officer Retiring
Officer has served in a number of roles in the department.
HINSDALE, IL — Hinsdale police Sgt. Brian Davenport is retiring after 27 years of service with the village. Friday is his last day.
Davenport began his law enforcement career in the U.S. Air Force as a security police officer. After an honorable discharge, he served with the Naperville Park District Police Department and then the Hinsdale Police Department. As a full-time officer in Hinsdale, he has held positions as sergeant, patrolman, patrol watch commander, evidence technician, field training officer, taser program coordinator and in the DUI enforcement unit.
