Madison School Participates in Hour of Code

Madison School students participated in the international Hour of Code event, a one-hour introduction to computer science.

Madison School students participated in the international Hour of Code event, a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to "demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics" according to campaign organizers Code.org, a public 501c3 non-profit dedicated to expanding participation in computer science. This year's campaign was hosted December 5-11 during Computer Science Education Week. All Madison students in kindergarten through fifth grade had the opportunity to try coding or another related project through the school's weCreate lab.
