Man Caught Stealing Purse In Hinsdale: Cops

The man was charged with burglary and taken to jail, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – A Chicago man entered an unlocked car and took a purse late last month in downtown Hinsdale, police said.

David Thomas, 54, was arrested on a felony charge of burglary without causing damage. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

The car was parked outside Silk Road Cleaners, 11 S. Lincoln St., police said. The incident occurred about 2 p.m. Nov. 29.
