Man Charged In Hinsdale Domestic Battery: Cops

In another case, local officers charged a man with felony meth possession and DUI, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

Domestic battery

  • A 31-year-old Park Forest man was arrested about 5 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of West Chestnut Street on charges of domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

  • Juan S. Rua Tarazona, 25, of Blue Island, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Route 83 and Ogden Avenue on charges of felony meth possession, DUI, no valid driver's license, improper lane use, transportation of open alcohol by a driver, failure to signal and suspended registration. Police said they were called about a reckless driver after the suspect hit concrete barriers and disobeyed traffic signals. The man had a plastic baggie containing a powdery substance that tested positive for meth. He also had an open beer bottle. He submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
