Man Harassed Hinsdale Woman, Violated Order: Cops

In another case, a woman at the Hinsdale hospital reported a theft.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is the information from the reports:

  • Ryan J. Cooper, 22, of Elmhurst, was arrested April 4 on a misdemeanor charge of phone harassment. Police said this was in violation of an order of protection. A Hinsdale woman told police Cooper had been calling her phone between Nov. 2 and Nov. 8, with the woman reporting the calls Nov. 9. Cooper was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • A woman told police that her wallet, identification, and credit and debit cards were stolen March 24 while she was at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St. She also reported unauthorized charges on her credit card after the theft occurred. She reported the crime April 10.
