Man Injured In Westmont Shooting: Cops

The man was taken to an area hospital, where his condition was unknown, police said.

WESTMONT, IL – A man was taken to the hospital after being shot Tuesday night in Westmont, police said.

The shooting occurred shortly before 9 p.m. in the 3500 block of Midwest Road, police said.

The condition of the man was unknown, according to a Westmont police news release. He was reported as being taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

The investigation continues with help from the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office and an interagency forensic investigations unit, the release said.
