The following information is from the Hinsdale Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Burglary

A victim at the DuPage Oak Brook Call Center, 120 E. Ogden Ave. reported that mail was taken from a bin attached to the suite door sometime between 1:40 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. on Aug. 14. The victim observed a subject in the hallway and described him as a male black, bald, wearing shorts and a shirt.

Motor Vehicle Theft

A victim in the 5500 block of South Oak Street reported that her 2015 Mazda CX5 was taken from her driveway sometime between 2:12 a.m. and 7:08 a.m. on Aug. 15. The victim reported the vehicle was unlocked and the key fob was inside.

Theft

A victim in the 900 block of South Garfield Avenue reported that an engagement ring valued at $19,900 was missing from his house. The victim had workers at his home during the timeframe the ring went missing, which was between July 13 and July 21.

Burglary To Vehicles

An unknown suspect entered unlocked vehicles parked in driveways in the 800 block of South Clay and 900 block of South Thurlow between 6 p.m. on Aug. 14 and 5:15 a.m. on Aug. 15. The suspect rummaged through the vehicles and stole a baton.
