'Mission Accomplished': Hinsdale Building Gets Baby-Changing Stations
The man who campaigned for the stations informed the Village Board about the success.

HINSDALE, IL – The man who led the push for installing baby-changing stations in a Hinsdale medical official building said this week he succeeded.
"Mission accomplished," area resident Kyle Comstock told the Village Board on Monday. "I actually managed to force the medical office building to install baby changing tables in their first-floor bathrooms where they have pediatrician offices."
Over the last few months, Comstock has spoken to the board a few times about the lack of baby-changing stations at the building at 911 N. Elm St.

He said his petition collected more than 100 signatures, including those of employees in the building.
"At times, I did feel that I was hitting a bit of a brick wall calling and talking to different people and not making the progress I wanted to make," said Comstock, who was holding his baby, Benjamin. "I appreciated the support from the people who helped out."

In November, a Hinsdale official said the village had gotten a commitment from the owner to install the stations, even though the village has no regulation requiring it.
