More Businesses Reopen: Quick Food Options

Not everyone is in the mood to cook following the 2011 Blizzard. If you want to pick up lunch or dinner today, stop in at one of these nearby restaurants:

1. , 54 South Washington, Hinsdale

A cup of coffee and a toasted bagel make the perfect snack for those Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills residents who are enjoying a second snow day. This bagel shop, located in downtown Hinsdale, will remain open today until 4pm.

2. , 21 East Hinsdale Ave., Hinsdale

Cosi, located in the Brush Hill Depot alongside the Hinsdale Metra stop, is a common commuter destination, although the blizzard closed it down until 2pm yesterday. If you managed to make it to the city via train today, it'll be easy to stop in at Cosi to pick up dinner on your way home tonight. The restaurant will be open until 9pm, and will open at its usual commuter-friendly time, 5am, tomorrow. 

3. , 100 Park, Clarendon Hills

The coffee shop was open bright and early this morning at 5am, for those weary snow shovelers looking for a quick pick-me-up. The Clarendon Hills Starbucks will be open until 9pm tonight. And don't fear, Hinsdale readers - although the blizzard shut it down all day yesterday, the , located at 33 South Washington, will also be open until 9pm today.

4. , 45 South Washington, Hinsdale

This takeout Italian restaurant recently moved from its former location, 106 Chestnut, to a spot in downtown Hinsdale that was formerly occupied by Starbucks, and then Ethel's Chocolate Lounge. Firenze To Go will be open until 7pm tonight, and you purchase hot or frozen dishes to bring home for dinner. 

5. , 43 South Washington, Hinsdale

Another favorite take out destination, Jade Dragon is open for its usual Tuesday - Thursday hours today: 11am - 9pm. For those who are ready to vacate the house after too many hours inside due to the blizzard, Jade Dragon will be open to dine in; however, take-out is also available for those who'd rather enjoy their favorite Chinese food in the comfort of their own home.
