It's not too late to "act up" at the Clarendon Hills Park District's Musical Theatre Camp this summer! Registration for this program which lets older children, tweens and teens act, dance and sing their way through summer will remain open until 5 p.m. on Friday, June 1. In-person registration is available between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. week days at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue, while families with an active household account in the Clarendon Hills Park District's Rec Trac system are encouraged to register on-line at www.clarendonhillsparkdistrict.org. Camp will meet between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays at the Clarendon Hills Middle School, beginning on Monday, June 11. The program will "reach for the stars" for six magical weeks, with camp concluding with two performances of "Beauty and the Beast, Jr." on Wednesday, July 18 and Thursday, July 19. All campers will receive a part in the production -- auditions will begin the first week in June. For additional information on camp fees and activities, please visit www.clarendonhillsparkdistrict.org or contact Michele Silver at the Clarendon Hills Park District, 630-323-2626.
