HINSDALE, IL - Three people who implied they had guns stole a 2019 block Land Rover Discovery car from the Land Rover dealership on Ogden Avenue in Hinsdale on Monday. Hinsdale police say an employee described the car thieves as three African-American men with hooded sweatshirts who appeared to be between 19 and 24 years old.

The employee was approached at 2:15 p.m. by the three men who "motioned like they had guns" and demanded the keys to a vehicle, police said in a media bulletin. After they stole the car, police say they hit a parked car while fleeing the parking lot.

A check of the dealership's inventory later that night confirmed one of the new Discovery vehicles had been reported missing.
