New Firefighter In Hinsdale

HINSDALE, IL — Hinsdale swore in a new firefighter and paramedic at the Village Board meeting on Tuesday night. He is Jasmeet Sanghera, who grew up and still lives in Bolingbrook.

Sanghera attended Bolingbrook High School and earned his bachelor's degree in kinesiology with a specialty in movement sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago, according to a village information sheet. For the past few years, Sanghera has been employed in both prehospital and hospital care, most recently working full time as a firefighter and paramedic with the Bridgeview Fire Department.
