Newcomers And Neighbors Announce Annual Kickoff Luncheon

HINSDALE, IL — Newcomers & Neighbors of the Greater Hinsdale Area has announced for its annual kickoff luncheon. The luncheon is open to the public, and will be held Thursday, Sept. 19 at 11:30 a.m. at Solstice Restaurant, 800 Hillgrove Ave., in Western Springs. Reservations are required and tickets are available for $25.

“If you have been looking for fun new ways to meet people in the area, Newcomers & Neighbors is a great way to make connections,” Caroline Nash, co-president of the group, said in a release. “Whether you are new to town or a long-time resident, Newcomers & Neighbors is a club that creates opportunities to get together with people who have similar interests by providing socials, activities, clubs and sports on a regular basis.”

“Our new board members will introduce exciting changes within the club and there is a delicious lunch planned at Solstice," co-president Linda Slepicka said in a release.

Newcomers & Neighbors welcomes residents of Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, Oak Brook, Clarendon Hills and Westmont. According to a release, the group offers an array of activities and events from book club, Bunco and Girls Night Out to Happy Hour, Euchre and Men’s Poker Night.
