Newcomers And Neighbors Holds Fall Coffee

This free event includes the speaker, coffee and pastries.

HINSDALE, IL — Newcomers & Neighbors of the Greater Hinsdale Area recently announced plans for its Fall Coffee. The organization said the informal coffee meet and greet is open to the public and will be held Wednesday, November 7 from 10 a.m. until noon at The Gathering Lighthouse, 26 North Park Ave., in Lombard.

Reservations are required and registrants only will be admitted the day of the event. You can reserve your spot today at www.hindalenewcomers.org, go to the Event Calendar, click on Fall Coffee and follow the instructions.

According to the organization, this free event includes the speaker, coffee and pastries. June Kortum, founder of The Gathering Lighthouse will speak on the subject of "Women’s Empowerment:Live your life with purpose, with power and with passion." The Gathering Lighthouse is an educational non-profit center, dedicated to teach individuals self-empowerment; personal strength and leadership skills to use in all aspects of life.

“If you have been looking for fun new ways to meet people in the area, Newcomers & Neighbors is a
great way to make connections,” Linda Slepicka, co-president of the group, said in a release. “Whether you are new to town or a long-time resident, Newcomers & Neighbors is a club that creates opportunities to get
together with people who have similar interests by providing socials, activities, clubs and sports on a
regular basis.”

Newcomers & Neighbors welcomes residents of Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, Oak Brook, Clarendon Hills and
Westmont.
