No Word From Hinsdale On Tree Controversy
The village has yet to present the public a plan to solve a tree dispute in a $4 million project.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale has yet to release proposed changes to a site plan for landscaping at a chiropractor's office under construction.
The plan has been embroiled in controversy since a contractor removed trees and brush at the south property line. The neighbors objected, and the village said a landscaping plan was needed.
Dr. Cara VanWormer-Hartman said she obtained a $4 million loan for the construction project at 110 E. Ogden Ave.

At a Village Board meeting earlier this month, Village President Tom Cauley said the board would consider changes to the site plan Tuesday.
Over the weekend, the village released its meeting agenda, which included an item for the site plan. But the village did not include the plan in its packet, saying it wasn't ready.

Half of the last Village Board meeting was focused on the tree dispute. The village gave the public no notice the issue would be discussed.
At one point, Cauley said those involved with the construction project lied to the village about what they were doing. He said the village may withhold the office's occupancy permit until the dispute is resolved.
