Only Vaccinated Students At Hinsdale Central Prom?

The school's venue is requiring them. The senior class is considering alternate sites.

HINSDALE, IL — Hinsdale Central High School announced Thursday that prom is going forward this spring, but its scheduled venue revealed this week it would require proof of vaccination from students.

Students with medical exemptions are the only exception.

This news is prompting senior class leaders to investigate alternate venues, so the whole class can take part in prom, regardless of vaccination status, the school said in a statement. However, the school said it may proceed as planned with prom at the Field Museum in Chicago, which is requiring proof of vaccination.
